On-Line Commission Bidding
If you have previously placed a Commission Bid with us by post or fax, you can now use our On-Line Commission Bidding facility to place a Commission Bid that will be instantly emailed to us.
Using the On-Line Commission Bidding Facility
1) Firstly, open either the Antiques & Fine Arts' or 'Welsh Catalogue' pages from the main menu.
2) From the catalogue list, click on one of the lot items from the table grid to see more information and a larger picture.
3) From here you can either place a bid or return to the catalogue page. To place a bid, click the'Place Bid' button. This takes you to the next page where you can enter your bid amount.
4) To enter your bid amount click the 'Enter Bid' button.
5) Now enter your bid amount in the box in the Bid Amount column. Please do not enter any decimal points. Enter a bid amount in multiples of 5 for bids under £200 and in multiples of 10 for bids over £200. Once you have entered the bid amount you would like to place, click the 'Confirm' button.
6) You can now either proceed to enter your personal details by clicking the 'Enter Details' button or continue browsing our catalogues by clicking the 'Return To Catalogue' button (so as to add more items on which you would like to place a bid).
7) You will now notice a gavel and notepad image to the top left of the page. This is your Bid List. It keeps a record of how many items you have selected to bid on. At any time while you are browsing the catalogues, you can click this image to open the page showing all the items you have selected up to that point. This is similar to a 'shopping basket' facility that you may have encountered on other sites.
8) At any time you may click the 'Remove Item' button to remove any lot item you no longer wish to bid on.
9) To Enter Details:
Click the 'Enter Details' button. You will now be taken to a new page where you can enter your personal details.
10) At this stage you can still return to the previous page to ammend you bid amounts or lot selections or to simply return to one of our catalogues by clickimg the 'Make Changes' button.
Please read this page carefully, paying attention to our Commission Terms and Conditions. All fields with a star next to them must be completed, otherwise the page will not send.
11) By clicking in the 'I Agree' button, you are stating that you have read and will accept and adhere to our commission bid terms and conditions. Your bid will not be sent until you have filled in this page correctly, agreed to our terms and conditions, and finally clicked the 'Submit' button.
12) On successful completion of this process, a confirmation page will open where you will have the opportunity to print out a copy of your commission bids placed. You will later receive a confirmation email sent to the email address you entered on the personal details page.
