This was the first time I had taken anything to an auctioneers.

What initially impressed me was Ben’s ability to show a knowledgeable interest and enthusiasm without being at all pushy; this was important to me.

Communication was excellent, all emails and phone calls responded to really promptly, (usually within a matter of hours), and I was kept informed of any developments and how the process worked all the way through.

Although Ben was the expert, I still felt I was given time and allowed to make the decisions once he had informed me of the options available. “Think on it overnight” he would recommend.

We got more than the results we were hoping for and I felt I was in good hands throughout.

I can certainly recommend them and would use the company again.

We used Rogers Jones for an estate valuation of my parent’s possessions. Ben himself visited the property and was very supportive and honest regarding all aspects, including some valuable paintings. We were so impressed that we used them for all sales, including a LS Lowry painting.

We had initially envisaged selling this and some other well-known artist’s paintings through one of the big national auction houses, however Ben’s personal approach was far more to our liking, and he was able to achieve sale prices which exceeded all our expectations.

It was fascinating to watch online as I've never seen an auction. Please pass our thanks on to Charles & Ben, they must have been exhausted. We were particularly pleased with surprise amounts for the refectory table and some of the jewellery lots.
